Anzac Slice with Dried Fruit

Favorite recipe of our Edmondson Park 1 chef Pina.

200 grams of Flour

200 grams of Oats

200 grams of Desiccated Coconut

Handful of Dried Fruit of Your Choice (Cranberries, apricot etc.)

1 can of Tinned Apples

1 teaspoon of Cinnamon

100 grams of Brown Sugar

1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

250grams of Melted Butter

 

  1. Combine all dried ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Then mix in your vanilla extract and butter.
  3. Preheat your oven to 160 degrees.
  4. Mix all ingredients to form a thick batter.
  5. Prepare a large baking tray with some baking paper.
  6. Pour batter into your baking tray and press flat.
  7. Place your tray into the oven and let it cook for 20 – 25 minutes or until golden.
  8. Once cook leave it too cool down for 20 minutes.
  9. Your slice is now ready to serve and enjoy!
